Hi,

Like millions of people around the world I've been shocked by the terrible events in Haiti.

Only now is the true scale of the disaster emerging. Reports now suggest as many as 50,000 people may have died, with hundreds of thousands made homeless.

The work ahead to recover from this tragedy is immense. So here's our goal: $890 million for Haiti. That's how much Haiti owes to the International Monetary Fund, the Inter-American Development Bank, and a handful of others.

Sign the petition below to ask Haiti's creditors to act quickly and cancel Haiti's debts:

As Haiti begins to rebuild we can help by lifting this debt.

Together as ONE we can make a difference!

Thanks!

A night of Music and Laughter

It was so interesting because the comedians reinforced all these boundaries that Erykah's music disrupts. All kinds of heteronormative humor that was disparaging of women and queer people. Additionally the use of the word "midget" and generally making fun of little people seemed like a cheap shot.

There was a performer named Rhabi, who after a super energized performance with hit and miss vocals explained Erykah had given him a chance to shine. I wish it had been like her crowds at Chastain. I think folks would have been more open to his presentation. Although all those women around him seemed disingenuous as well as gratuitous.

Erykah was awesome!!! highlight was when she told the security person about themselves and folks got up to dance. Oh and she looked so fly!!! who new that plaid could look so fierce with shimmery black Harem pants and a top hat?!!

I was hoping for a preview of the other songs that were supposed to be on American promise 2 and 3 but no luck :(

Oh and Remember E love's an Encore so don't be fooled by her leaving the stage the first time!!
